BeaverCountian.com took home seven Golden Quill awards for journalistic excellence Thursday night from the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania.
The 56th Annual Golden Quill Award winners were announced during a televised ceremony that aired on PCTV.
A panel of journalism professionals judged reporting by BeaverCountian.com to be the best among media outlets in twenty-nine counties in Western Pennsylvania and neighboring counties in Eastern Ohio and Northern West Virginia.
BeaverCountian.com’s awards are for non-daily publications, which include newspapers, magazines, and new media outlets.
Along with its seven Golden Quill wins, BeaverCountian.com’s reporting was named a finalist in five additional categories.
BeaverCountian.com took home six Golden Quills in last year’s competition, including a coveted best of show award.
