A Final Journey Home For The Chiefs

On Saturday, April 11, Aliquippa Acting Police Chief Robert Sealock died at UPMC Pittsburgh after suffering a medical emergency while on duty. On Sunday, April 12, Ambridge Interim Police Chief Mark Romutis died at Allegheny General Hospital from complications of the novel coronavirus.

Today, officers from throughout the region gathered to escort both men on their final journeys home.

With all respect to our Beaver County police chiefs that are and will alway be part of this county’s family and hero’s on the front line in our area, with all the family’s not have funerals because of this virus, without testing it is so hard not to know who is carrying this virus and seeing the pictures with the hugs and standing so close, I hope everyone their will not take that virus back to family and friends! You are our only hope for security and pease of mind that keeps us all safe! Please this is a very hard time and we do not need any more of police and first responders falling from this virus!
