I remember one of tony guys statements to the press saying that the BC sheriffs dept. is not and will not be a county wide police force. every town in BC has its own police force and there is the state police after that the feds in there various agencies. transport prisoners provide security for the courthouse serve papers take care of the sheriffs sales. that’s it what is so complicated sheriff guy.

I will reserve judgement on this issue until we find out exactly what these employees were doing during these overtime hours. Were there actual job duties that required extra hours, or were they doing work that was supposed to be completed during their regular shift? Were there timing issues with prisoner transfers that occurred “off shift” needing covered? If so, that seems like a simple problem to fix.

On the other hand, perhaps they really are grossly understaffed and are simply doing the job they were hired to do. Either way, it’s mismanagement.

Elected officials think they are above the rules because it is so difficult to get rid of them. The easiest way to get rid Of them is just not re-elect them. So tell me again Jim Christiana and Sandie Egley, why is Tony Guy… Your guy? My objective next election is to vote out everyone who is currently in office.

I agree Indian, what a mess at that courthouse! They all ran for a better government with Christiana as their cheerleader. It’s a mess in Harrisburg with Christiana and a mess in BC with these republicans. I will also vote out everyone of them. What a disappointment.

I don’t see Wonder Boy or the Head Bitch in Charge coming to the aid of Guy or defending him. I see this Guy acting on his own behalf and he doesn’t care who he runs over. I’m a taxpayer and this Guy answers to me!

Plus, if Andrea the Commissioners Solicitor is writing a letter to the Sheriff in essence that means the Commissioners are writing a letter to the Sheriff. She works for them and advises them.
