Police Say Facebook “News” Group Admin Filmed Through Woman’s Bedroom Window

The administrator of a large Facebook “news” group in Beaver County is facing new criminal charges after a neighbor complained the woman made video recordings through her bedroom window. The woman’s boyfriend is also facing criminal charges after allegedly filming the neighbor’s small children while they were playing in a kiddie pool.

Deanna Marie Romigh, 35, of Beaver Falls, is the founder and administrator of “The News Alerts Of Beaver County,” a Facebook group boasting more than 42,000 followers.

According to a criminal complaint filed with the court on September 11 by Beaver Falls Police Captain Thomas Lococo, Romigh and her boyfriend Justin Badgett have been continuing their alleged harassment of Sheila Kerr, a neighbor in the Pleasantview Homes public housing complex where they reside.

Lococo reported the most recent incident occurred on September 3.

“I was already aware of an ongoing dispute between the parties,” Lococo wrote in a charging affidavit. “Kerr explained to me that she had just come from the magistrate’s office for a hearing involving (Romigh and Badgett). Kerr explained that one of the Beaver Falls officers had issued a citation to Romigh for harassing her. When she appeared for the hearing it had to be continued because there was no interpreter available for Romigh since she is deaf.”

Before the September 3 incident, Romigh was already awaiting trial on three separate cases involving charges of summary harassment and disorderly conduct for allegedly harassing Kerr and Dayna Lella, another of her neighbors.
