Anthony Bruno, 27 of Ambridge, was charged by Harmony Township Police with Institutional Vandalism and Resisting Arrest stemming from an incident which occurred over the weekend.
A video posted online by Bruno shows the “Cop Blocker” confronting officers from the Harmony Township and Ambridge Borough police departments.
Harmony Police Chief Jack Lively filed the criminal complaint which alleges Bruno repeatedly kicked his police department’s garage door during that confrontation, damaging it. Bruno alleges the charges are part of a conspiracy against him.
Sources say Bruno returned to the Harmony Township Police Department after the incident, and officers are expected to file additional charges of Disorderly Conduct as a result of the encounter.
Bruno was seen in the Beaver County Detectives and District Attorney’s Offices today, where he began screaming and later pounding on doors. He was ejected from both offices, and then started yelling in the hallways of the courthouse about alleged injustices being perpetrated against him.
He is scheduled for trial later this month on unrelated charges of Harassment and Defiant Trespass. Sources in the District Attorney’s Office say Bruno is expected to represent himself during that proceeding.
Video & Its Accompanying Comments: Pittsburgh Cop Block & Anthony Bruno

When are they going to arrest this dipstick and put him away for a while?
Chief Lively dropped the criminal mischief charges on a.j. after we released the evidence on Youtube, and as for the disorderly conduct charge for cursing at him will probably get thrown out. Considering a.j. was cussing because he witnessed a cop try to frame him. Thank you for posting this on your site. The video clearly shows a.j. walk away after the door closed.
According to a search of court records, the charges against Bruno were not dropped.
A summary charge of Criminal Mischief (18 § 3304 §§ A) was withdrawn, and 2 Misdemeanor Charges of Institutional Vandalism (18 § 3307 §§ A) and Resisting Arrest (18 § 510) were filed.
Those charges are still active and pending a preliminary hearing as of the time of this comment.
