A long time member of the Beaver County Detectives Bureau will soon be retiring.
Detective Lieutenant Kim Clements has filed paperwork with the county beginning her retirement effective October 1st.
Lieutenant Clements specialized in investigating adult sexual assaults and elder abuse, regularly working with the Women’s Center of Beaver County and Protective Services. She served as the county’s Intelligence Officer, was involved in the creation of the Beaver County Missing Person Task Force, and acted as Crisis Negotiator for the Emergency Service Unit (Beaver County’s SWAT).
Kim Clements joined the Detective’s Bureau in 1979, becoming the first female law enforcement officer in Beaver County.
According to paperwork filed with the county, District Attorney Anthony Berosh will appoint part-time Center Township Officer Bonnie Sedlacek to replace Clements.
