Editor’s Note: The following is a statement provided to BeaverCountian.com by Beaver County Commissioner Chairman Dan Camp.
We are aware through media reports of the issues confronting the residents, staff, and management at Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center. To date, the only requests made from Brighton Rehab of the County was through our Emergency Management Department requesting personal protective equipment (PPE) which was forwarded to PEMA (Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency). One of those requests has already been fulfilled, and the other was recently submitted over the weekend. This is not a county facility and therefore the Beaver County Board of Commissioners has no oversight of its operations, but certainly will offer any assistance we can if requested.

no one want to deal with it but we have to stay home for lord knows how long and wild the rest of the county is shut down .
Mr. Camp-
We are basically under defacto martial law! I have a thought how about showing some real leadership right now and call the Governor and get an executive order signed by him and bring the state guard in right now and get this disaster fixed before more people die!
Two hundred employees walking around Beaver County who may be infected! This is nothing but madness and your leading the pack! ” this is not a county facility therefore the board has no authority over it’s operations etc. ” Where did you get that line – from the county attorney? Lord have mercy on all of us!
Fear the agenda people, fear the agenda.
Somebody in the county had enough oversite to give them a huge tax abatement when they bought that place leaving the tax payers to carry the burden.
Then Camp needs to figure out who has oversight of that shit show! It’s clear the leadership at Brighton is in over their heads. Just saw Beaver county has twice as many covid deaths than Allegheny despite less than half the population – that’s because of Brighton.
Someone needs to get a handle on that place so those clowns don’t infect the whole damn county.
