New Brighton Borough
Founded 1838 | 1 sq. mi. | People: 5,729
Borders: Pulaski, Daugherty, Rochester Township
New Brighton Government
Failed: Open Government Test
New Brighton does not post its council meeting minutes online.
Without minutes, residents have no way to see what their elected officials discussed, how they voted or how they represented the people who elected them — unless they file a Right-to-Know request.
When BeaverCountian.com checked on Oct. 2, 2026, the borough's website posted agendas on its meeting calendar but no minutes.
BeaverCountian.com is in the process of obtaining New Brighton's meeting minutes from the borough in accordance with Pennsylvania's open records laws.
