Hopewell Area board got first look at design of new K-6 elementary school
- Architects from Draw Collective presented conceptual exterior and interior designs for the district’s new K-6 elementary school, including a secured entrance vestibule, a three-story classroom wing and an interior courtyard.
- The board unanimously approved a lease with the Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette to run its Head Start preschool program in district space.
- Directors voted 8-0 on a roll call to apply to the state Department of Education for Flexible Instructional Days for the 2026-27 school year.
