Beaver County Shuts Down Booking Center As COVID Cases Continue To Spike

Beaver County has shut down its Regional Booking Center (RBC) due to the raising number of COVID-19 cases being experienced locally.

Housed at the Beaver County Jail, the RBC provides a centralized location for individuals that are facing criminal charges to be fingerprinted. The facility is operated by the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office and staffed by both deputies and correctional officers.

“Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases, the Beaver County RBC will be closed from Monday, November 16, 2020 through Monday, November 30, 2020,” according to a statement released by the facility. “If you have received a summons with the instruction to get fingerprinted prior to your court date, you are advised to call the regional booking center starting Tuesday, December 1, 2020 … to find out whether the RBC has resumed regular business.”
