Commissioner Tony Amadio Files Lawsuit Over Car Accident

Beaver County Commissioner Tony Amadio and his wife have filed a lawsuit against a West Virginia man they allege struck their vehicle in 2019.

In a complaint filed this month in the Beaver County Court of Common Pleas, Amadio alleges that Dustin A. Morris, of Wheeling, caused him bodily injuries when the man collided with his vehicle on Feb. 15 of last year.

According to the complaint, Amadio was driving northbound on Interstate 79 in Washington County, PA, when his 2017 GMC Terrain was struck in its rear side by a Buick LaSabre driven by Morris. Amadio alleges Morris was following his vehicle too closely, and was driving in a “violent, careless, reckless and negligent manner” at the time of the collision.
