A former tax collector for Center Twp. and the Central Valley School District was charged federally this month with allegations she stole over $1 million from taxpayers and filed false reports to cover up her crimes.
Federal prosecutors allege Jeanne Ann Bowser, age 62, of Center Township, stole the money between 2011 and 2019.
