County Treasurer’s Office Closing Over COVID Concerns – Employee Tests Positive

The Beaver County Treasurer’s Office is closing today over concerns about a continuing spread of COVID-19 within the courthouse. Employees of the office will be working remotely until at least Tuesday.

Treasurer Sandie Egley told BeaverCountian.com that one employee in her office has tested positive for the virus; two additional employees are waiting for test results.

“I made the decision to close the office out of an abundance of caution for my staff, their families, and all other employees in the courthouse,” Egley said.
