A stretch of Bridgewater’s riverfront has a new owner after a $3.5 million deal, the biggest property sale recorded in Beaver County last week.
Bar Riverside LLC and Bar Ventures LLC sold eight parcels along Riverside Drive to JHTG Holdings LLC in two deeds recorded Sept. 21. Bar Riverside’s three parcels, at 1420, 1440 and 1460 Riverside Drive, went for $2,489,117.88, and Bar Ventures’ five, including 1421 and 1481 Riverside Drive, for $1,010,882.12.
County assessment records list three buildings on the parcels, which cover nearly 5 acres in all: a 1969 building at 1420 Riverside Drive listed as the Dockside Grille and classified as a restaurant; a 6,000-square-foot building at 1440 Riverside Drive, built in 1998 and listed under the name Spanky’s; and a 3,750-square-foot storage building at 1481 Riverside Drive, built in 2003 and listed as Boat World. The county lists no buildings on the other five parcels.
