A tract of former steel company land on the Monaca-Center Township line has a new owner after a $2.25 million deal, the biggest property sale recorded in Beaver County last week.

Betters Real Estate Holdings L.P. sold the land, known as Parcel A-4 of the Bet-Tech plan, to BV Industrial Park LLC for $2,250,000 in a deed recorded Oct. 1. The tract takes in a parcel on Beaver Avenue in Monaca and part of a parcel on Constitution Boulevard in Center Township, and the deed assigns 80% of it to Monaca for transfer tax purposes.
