Shapiro & Davis Rally At The “House Of Labor” In Vanport

Lt. Gov. Austin Davis told BeaverCountian.com in an exclusive interview that cutting programs like shop class from schools was a mistake of the past, and said the state can put apprenticeship programs back in them, as he and Gov. Josh Shapiro brought their statewide bus tour to Beaver County.

About 150 people gathered outside the IBEW Local 712 building in Vanport on Saturday as the pair told the crowd that organized labor would have a friend in Harrisburg for four more years.

Davis punctuated his remarks with a direct pledge on one of the most contentious issues in labor politics.
