The Beaver Borough Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 7:00PM at the Beaver Borough Municipal Building located at 469 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009. The meeting is scheduled to hear the following:

Request from Frank J. Makozy for a variance from section 1001.1 of the Beaver Borough Zoning Ordinance to use the property located at 1515 Third Street in the SC Zoning District as a single-family dwelling.

The Beaver Area School District is proposing to erect a backlit free-standing sign to be located at the northwesterly intersection of Fifth Street and Buffalo Street (1300 5th St.) in the P Zoning District. Section 1601.E.7 of the Beaver Borough Zoning Ordinance prohibits backlit signs. The Beaver Area School District is requesting a variance from section 1601E.7 to allow a backlit sign.
