
For the second year in a row, Janice’s Catering of Ambridge has won top prize at the “Valley’s Best Chili Cook-Off” held in Vanport. Janice’s also won best display in show. The annual event raises money for the Vanport Volunteer Fire Department.
Other contestants included second place winner Matt Morrow, third place winner Gourmet To Go, along with Vanport Presbyterian Church, Tina Rosensteel, FA Lewarchiik, BeauCo Bistro, Robert Gwin, Team Peace/Love and Chili, and Chris Robinson.

He declared the event a riot and had them all arrested for illegal possession of peppers that could be made into weapons. It was on PCNC news. He said it was the second disaster he had averted this year. The chili was confiscated along with coffee and some donuts found on the premises.
