Beaver County Prothonotary Tests Positive For COVID-19

Beaver County Prothonotary Michael Rossi has tested positive for COVID-19. County officials are now mandating testing for every employee in his office, which is responsible for documenting all civil cases in the courts.

The Prothonotary’s Office was briefly closed to the public today while county officials notified staff about Rossi’s diagnosis.

Rossi could not be reached for comment, but Chief County Solicitor Garen Fedeles told BeaverCountian.com that Rossi was in good enough condition to join the staff meeting by phone. Rossi is described as suffering from symptoms including “a fever and fatigue.”
